It’s beginning to look a lot like christmas…

I was out and about today delivering the Kilkenny mags in our lovely city Kilkenny. Even the most cold hearted soul couldn’t help but warm to feel of good cheer around. Even the budget hasn’t dampened the spirit of the Kilkenny natives. Shop owners were positive and everyone looked happy. I do love this time of year especially because you seem to run into people who you don’t see much during the year. I must have spent a good hour over expected just stopping and talking to people I knew. This is something we forgot about in the boom times. We forgot to stop and look around us and take the time to talk to one another. If this recession has one positive it is bringing back communities to Ireland. So here’s to helping one another and bringing back the community spirit. 😉
